Andrew J. Hamilton

Mr. Hamilton is a business consultant based in Chicago, Illinois USA. He oversees and operates over eleven business entities, which assist business and government on financial matters. He assists manufacturing firms, housing developers and not-for-profit corporations in obtaining tax-exempt financing and tax credits. Mr. Hamilton has facilitated over $2.1 billion in financing that created over 27,000 jobs. He currently operates eight rural regional bonding authorities, two bank community development corporations and two financial consulting businesses. Prior to consulting, Mr. Hamilton worked in government at the Illinois Department of Commerce and was responsible the credit underwriting and financial analysis of the Departments’ loan and investment portfolio. He also worked in lending at a mortgage company and community bank. Mr. Hamilton also served as Village Trustee in his hometown, Rantoul, Illinois, a legislative intern in the Illinois House of Representatives and as a Congressional Fellow in Washington D.C. Mr. Hamilton is a graduate of the Senior Executive Program at the University of Illinois and also has a Bachelor’s Degree with a double major in Economics and Political Science at the University. Mr. Hamilton was an instructor in the Commercial Lending School with the Illinois Bankers Association and the Community Bankers Association of Illinois.
