Sterling Towers acquired and upgraded a 111-unit multi-family residential facility located at 2403 East 19th Street, Sterling, Illinois (Whiteside County). The company is a senior housing community for residents over 62 years of age and those with disabilities. The apartments have specially designed features for physical handicaps and disabilities.
The facility is less than one mile from the medical center. Shopping, theaters, parks, and a marina are less than three miles from the facility. Outdoor activities close by include the Emerald Hill Golf Course, the Hennepin Canal Feeder Bike Trail, and the Woodlawn Arts Academy. In 2017, QCREDA issued a $9,350,000 bond. The total project size was $16.5 mil and created 80 construction jobs.
