LRC Developers owns and operates the Quad City Industrial Center. The Company constructed a 30,000 square foot building and rehabilitated 70,000 square feet for a total of 100,000 square feet of space. The new space was leased to Hill and Valley Inc., the largest sugar free and no sugar added manufacturer of bakery products in the US. Their products include cakes, cookies, muffins, brownies and pies. Products are distributed nationwide through supermarkets and bakeries.
The Quad City Industrial Center formerly known as the Farmall building was renamed Columbia Park as part of a redevelopment plan of converting a two million square foot old manufacturing facility into a new mixed-use site. The Company completed Phase one of the plan and demolished one million square feet of old industrial space. Phase two was completed with site remediation approval from the Illinois EPA in August of 2013. In 2013, QCREDA issued a $9,797,400 bond that created 120 new jobs.
